I’ve had the privilege of living in the Hill Country since December of 2006, when I finally moved here after years of commuting from San Antonio/Austin to regularly attend a church in Kerrville. My first job in Kerrville was working for the Hill Country Home Builders Association. It was truly an amazing experience working with all of the talented builders and developers in Kerrville and Fredericksburg, as well as the businesses that support our building industry. I learned about marketing strategies while organizing the Tour of Homes, and even bookkeeping and financial reporting requirements when I became the Executive Officer of the association.
When the housing market crashed, many members had to close businesses or scale down their expenses to the bare-minimum. It was during this time that I ran the association part-time and started a bookkeeping business to help business owners reduce their expenses to survive the downturn. In 2011, I began to operate my bookkeeping business full-time. We’ve served over 20 companies throughout Kerr and Gillespie counties…with one of those customers being CENTURY 21 The Hills Realty! For five years, I worked with Broker Toni Manchester, her amazing staff, and all of the talented Realtors®. In 2017, I took the plunge to join the ranks of these hard-working and fun individuals.
I couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable and supportive Broker…her kind words when I announced that I passed my real estate exam were: “You will be the agent that buyers and sellers want: hard-working, honest, ethical…a REALTOR that puts her clients’ interests first.” I strive to live up to this statement with every client that I serve, which I helped me win the 2017 Rookie of the Year award
