Medina TX is a small Texas Hill Country town located northwest of San Antonio, Texas and south of Kerrville, Texas. Medina is an unincorporated city, and its nearby towns include Kerrville, Bandera and Tarpley.
Medina at one point was known as the “Apple Capital of Texas” as a result of Medina being home to many apple orchards. In the past, Medina hosted the International Apple Festival each year. While the festival has ended, a local attraction known as the Love Creek Orchard remains open to the public year-round. Also nearby is The Apple Store which sells many types of apple based products such as ice cream, apple cider, cookies, sandwiches and more.
Another major attraction that takes place each year in Medina is the Great Hill Country Pumpkin Patch which is open to the public during the month of October and is located at the Love Creek Orchards.
